Tom is an award-winning, internationally produced playwright, actor and director. Tom was formerly the Co Executive Director of Wildcard Theatre Company and was Guest Artistic Director of the Kings Head Theatre in 2023 as part of ‘The Takeover’.
Tom trained as an actor at the Oxford School of Drama. TV credits include EastEnders (BBC Studios) where Tom played the recurring guest role of Tim Walton (2025-26) & Queenie (Channel 4). Theatre credits include: Wreckage (Turbine Theatre / Summerhall), VELVET (Above the Stag / UK Tour / Pleasance Courtyard), Sket (Park Theatre), 5 Guys Chillin’ (Kings Head Theatre / Assembly Roxy) & Wars of the Roses (Rose Theatre Kingston). Film credits include Once Upon a Time in London (Gateway Films).
Recent writing commissions for Tom include a co-commission between Harlow Playhouse and HighTide. Writing credits include: Wreckage (Turbine Theatre / Summerhall), Evelyn (Southwark Playhouse / Mercury Theatre), Fame Whore (Kings Head Theatre), VELVET (UK & Ireland Tour / Pleasance Courtyard), Circa (Theater de Meervaart, Amsterdam / The Old Red Lion) & Gifted (Pleasance Theatre). Tom was awarded the JB Priestley Award for Writers of Promise in 2020. He was shortlisted for the Old Vic 12 in 2016 and has been longlisted for the Verity Bargate, Theatre503 & Papatango playwriting awards. Short plays have included runs at Theatre503, Old Red Lion Theatre & St James Theatre.
Tom is published by Methuen Drama and his play Wreckage was translated and performed in Germany in a sell-out run at Hamburg’s Theater Das Zimmer in 2023. The production was shortlisted for the Theaterpreis Hamburg 2024.
Directing credits include Barry McStay’s Breeding (Kings Head Theatre) and Fame Whore (Kings Head Theatre).
