Tanya Bridgeman

Tanya is a multidisciplinary performer and writer from London, with creative bases in Dublin, Devon, and London. A Mountview-trained actor with a strong stage presence, Tanya brings nuance, imagination, and emotional depth to every role. Her work, both as an actor and writer, explores the complexities of the human condition with curiosity and care.

She is a skilled physical performer and accomplished singer, with experience across theatre and musical theatre. Her movement practice is rooted in joy and presence, and she relishes the challenge of embodied storytelling.

As a creative, Tanya draws on her love of folklore, oral storytelling and fantasy. She is currently developing two original plays, including ‘These Waves Whisper’ – a verbatim, Arts Council-funded work rooted in stories collected in Barbados. The piece explores oral memory, climate change, and our evolving relationship with the ocean.
