Matt Findlay

Coming from a background in jazz music, Matt is also a skilled double bassist and electric bassist, with experience playing guitar and piano.

It was this musical experience that allowed him to work on ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, doubling for Rami Malek on piano. A fantastic experience that provided a wealth of on-set knowledge and professional etiquette. Since then, he has worked on commercials with Gary Barlow (dir. by Nick Tree), been involved with National Theatre Production’s ‘Standing At The Sky’s Edge’ promotional shoot (cast by Stuart Burt) and doubled Malek again on Twentieth Century Studio’s ‘The Amateur’ (dir. James Hawes; One Life, Slow Horses S1), with which he travelled to Paris, Marseille and Istanbul with production.

Originally from Portsmouth, Matt is based in Cardiff and keeps bases in London and Edinburgh.
