Jenna Fincken is an award-winning actress, writer, and director.

Jenna’s critically acclaimed debut play, Ruckus, received widespread recognition, including a WhatsOnStage Awards nomination for Best Off-West End Production, first runner-up for the Popcorn Writing Award in partnership with BBC Writers Room, a shortlist for the Filipa Bragança Award, and an Off West End nomination for Lead Performance in a Play. She also won a Lustrum Award for her “unforgettable performance and new writing.”

Ruckus garnered rave reviews, earning recommendations such as The Times’ best shows to see across the Fringe 2022, The Scotsman’s top 10 theatre shows at the Fringe 2022, and The Stage’s best show of the year at Fringe 2022. The play has toured across multiple UK venues, was published by Methuen, and is highly recommended at the National Theatre bookshop.

She served as Co-Executive Director of Wildcard from 2021 to 2023. Most recently, Jenna directed Earthquakes in London at the Royal & Derngate. Her upcoming play, Either/OR, has been awarded a Peggy Ramsay Grant, and she has secured an option for the development and adaptation of a new TV series, Ruckus.
