Imogen (they/she) is a London and Devon-based Actor, Director, Intimacy Director, and Writer, passionate about female-centered and queer stories. Their directing work includes tell me straight by Paul Bradshaw, which won The Standing Ovation Award in 2022. As an Intimacy Director, they’re part of IDC Professionals’ Accelerator Program. Recent credits including Outlying Islands (Jermyn Street Theatre) and Bellringers (Hampstead Theatre). As a writer, Imogen’s debut play ; (pause before continuing) was long-listed for the RSC’s 37 Plays Award in 2023. In 2024, their play WOM(b)AN was developed at The Young Vic through the Genesis Network and showcased at Northcott’s RECLAIM festival. This year they’re one of 21 writers on Exeter Northcott’s Elevate Writers Scheme. Acting credits include Anna Magdalena in Bach’s Art of Fugue (Barbican) & Lady Capulet/Benvolio in Romeo & Juliet (Exeter Northcott).
