Damien is also a writer. He was awarded Northern Ireland Screen’s New Writer Focus Award in 2020/21. His play ‘Venus Quarry’ was produced in London by Pluck Theatre Company. At present, he has a number of projects for screen in development with companies including Vico Films and Big Fish. He is also writing a play under commission from the Arts Council.
