Cara is a London-based actor. Her recent credits include ‘Playing Nice’, a co-production with Studio Canal and Rabbit Track Pictures and starring James Norton and James McArdle, which broadcast on ITV and ITVX earlier this year.
Credits include: ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ (Warner Bros.), ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ (European Arts Company) and ‘Shudder’ (Soho Theatre).
Cara is also a writer and producer with her own production company, Yonic Productions, whose work explores themes of identity, gender and sexuality. ‘Fish’ and ‘Mole’, both of which she also acts in, are currently on the festival circuit.
‘Fish’ premiered at BFI Flare in March 2025 has since screened at Wicked Queer in Boston, HollyShorts Comedy in LA, London Independent Film Festival, Fealy Films Soho Pride Festival, the Irish Pride Film Festival and Rio LGBTQIA+. It will next be shown at FilmOut San Diego in August. ‘Mole’ premiered at London Independent Film Festival and will have further screenings at Femme Filmmakers Festival and Women X later this year.
Cara’s short, ‘Full Fat’, for which she has won several writing awards, is in pre-production. Louisa Connolly-Burnham is attached to direct.
