Kerry Ellis is heading back on the road this autumn with Rock Anthems, a new UK tour celebrating her lifelong love of classic rock music.
The Olivier Award–nominated star will perform a powerhouse set of rock hits from Queen, Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler and the other rock legends who have inspired her.
The new tour marks a return to the music that first captured her imagination and eventually led to her starring role in We Will Rock You, after Queen’s Sir Brian May famously declared she had “the most beautiful voice in Britain”.
The concert will see Ellis perform a jukebox of classic anthems, exploring the stories and personal memories behind the songs.
“I have been a fan of classic rock music all my life, having been introduced to the genre as a little girl by my parents,” Ellis said. “This will be a very special tour as I will get to sing the rock anthems which have punctuated my life, and share the stories behind them. Get ready to rock!”
The tour opens on 18 September 2026 at Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli, Wales and will tour to selected venues, concluding at Royal Spa Centre in Leamington Spa on 13 November 2026. Full tour dates listed below.
Ellis is widely known for her musical theatre performances especially Wicked, having originated the role of Elphaba in the London. She has appeared in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane; Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre; We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre, My Fair Lady for the National Theatre and in the West End; and Anything Goes at the Barbican. She has also toured in concert with Brian May on many occasions.
Most recently Ellis performed in concert with her Wicked alumni – Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman – in Defying Gravity which will also tour in spring next year.
