Tom is an internationally produced and award winning playwright and director. In 2023, Tom was one of the four Guest Artistic Directors of the Kings Head Theatre as part of their Takeover and was the Co Executive Director of Wildcard Theatre between 2021-23.

As a playwright, Tom has been working internationally since his debut play Circa premiered at the Theater de Meervaart, Amsterdam in 2016. Credits include Evelyn (Southwark Playhouse) starring Rula Lenska, Wreckage (Turbine Theatre / UK Tour), VELVET (UK & Ireland Tour), Fame Whore (Kings Head Theatre) & Circa (Theater de Meervaart / Old Red Lion). Wreckage was translated into German by Robin Kulisch ahead of its German premiere in 2023, where it ran at Theater das Zimmer. The play is currently on the shortlist for the 2024 Hamburg Theaterpreis. In 2020 Tom was the recipient of the JB Priestley Award for Writers of Promise. Tom is published by Methuen Drama in English speaking territories and the rights for Robin Kulisch’s translation of Wreckage have been acquired by Concord Theatricals for all German speaking territories.

As a director, Tom’s credits include Fame Whore (Kings Head Theatre) & Breeding by Barry McStay (Kings Head Theatre).
