Rob graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and has worked in theatre, film and television, most recently playing the leading role of Neville Strange in Towards Zero at the Mill at Sonning, directed by Brian Blessed.

Outside of his acting career, Rob has refereed professional rugby including in the National Leagues and at the International 7s tournament in Singapore. Fuelled by his work on Journey’s End, Rob has developed a strong interest in the First World War and joined a team of archaeologists on the battlefields excavating tunnels under the front line trenches. The dig was made in to a documentary for the BBC called “Tunnels of the Somme”.
