Margaret is an international operatic and musical theatre singer, actor and recording artist. She has performed numerous leading and diverse operatic and musical theatre roles with all the major opera companies in the UK, and many abroad, working with conductors and directors of international acclaim.

Additional credits include Carlotta in 'The Phantom of the Opera' (Her Majesty’s Theatre, London), in addition to singing the entire role in the film for Minnie Driver (also appearing in the film as The Confidante); The Mother Abbess in 'The Sound of Music' at The London Palladium followed by its UK tour, reprising the role in productions in Jordan, Cairo and Dubai; Mrs Higgins in 'My Fair Lady' (Big League Productions NYC, China Tour); Eleanor Roosevelt in a new musical play, 'Melania' (Glasgow) and The Empress in 'Aladdin' (Tewkesbury).

Acting roles include Jean in the UK tour of Victoria Wood’s 'Dinner Ladies'; 'Bacchai' (National Theatre and Epidaurus, Greece with Sir Peter Hall); Mrs Fflyte in the comedy play 'The Messiah!' (UK tour); Mrs McGee in 'Corpse!' (Vienna’s English Theatre); Lady Bracknell in Wilde’s 'The Importance of Being Earnest', Marion in Ayckbourn’s 'Absurd Person Singular' and Mrs. Flint in Coward’s' This Happy Breed' at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. 

Most recently: Mother Superior in 'Sister Act' (English Theatre, Frankfurt).
