When it comes to Panto, Barrie has played everything from the Prince in Cinderella (PHA) and in Sleeping Beauty (Extravaganza); King Rat In Dick Whittington (Chester Theatres) and Genie, PC Pong & Emperor in Aladdin (Oldham Coliseum & PMA) to Idle Jack, Abanazar, Muddles and Buttons in Jack & The Beanstalk, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella (Panto Ever After).

Barrie is an accomplished writer and director. He has written two jukebox musicals based on famous shakespeare plays for the Liverpool Actors studio where he was Artistic Director. He has also written various TV scripts and short/feature film scripts including a children's TV series aimed at CBBC/Nickelodeon and is hoping to write for a children's TV writing team and perhaps develop his own series.
