Daniel Hinchliffe: Managing Director

Originally from Yorkshire, Daniel moved to London to study at the Royal Ballet School. He then worked extensively as a performer, in Theatre, TV and Film for over a decade, performing in many West End productions, a season at the RSC, and films including Around the World in 80 Days.

Daniel then read History at the University of London, gaining a First Class Honours Degree. He then began a career in the music industry at Sony Music, where he was Head of Press and Promotions, working with some of the biggest artists in the world including Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Dolly Parton.

In 2011 he set up Soundcheck PR in Soho, representing artists including Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion before launching the Soundcheck Agency in 2013. Soundcheck was re-launched as Leodis Talent in 2024.

In 2016 Soundcheck produced its first West End production, Murder Ballad at the Arts Theatre, which was nominated for both the Laurence Olivier Awards and the What’s on Stage Awards.

Daniel recently received a Law degree from the University of Law (PGDL) and has just completed a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Leeds (LLM), specialising in Copyright Law and Artificial Intelligence.

Simon Pontin: Agent

Simon is from Southampton and has 20 years experience in the industry

Is passionate about representing actors & creatives who work hard, can disrupt and rewrite the rule book. Likes to work closely with artists to create a tailored career/partnership that is both artistically and financially rewarding.

Serena Giacomini: Commercials Agent

Prior to joining Leodis Serena worked in factual entertainment, looking after a number of tv presenters and personalities.

Having worked in theatre herself as a performer for over 20 years, both in the West End and all over the UK, Serena has been on the client side of agency life, an insight which inspires her to provide the best possible service.

When not running after her 4 year old, she enjoys cooking, makes great scones and an excellent tiramisu!
