OFFIE Nominated Dimitris Kafataris is an actor with a military background. He then studied Acting at East 15 Acting School, where he added stage and screen combat to his skills repertoire as well. He is a unique Greek Cypriot actor that strives to represent the Mediterranean people in film and theatre globally. Including his acting skills he is now a theatrical weapons expert that has experience in a vast array of unique systems including swords, firearms, unarmed combat and many more. Dimitris works alongside his acting career as a fight director and a firearms instructor for Screen and Theatre, specialising in modern warfare roles, firearms handling and tactical military movement.
His work includes Motion Capture performance for Video Games, West End shows, Shakespeare productions, Immersive Theatre and an OFFIE Nomination for Best Choreography/Movement. Dimitris is also the founder of TITANBORN, a Theatrical Specialist Combat company.
