Sahera Khan is a Muslim Deaf and British South Asian Actress. Her native language is British Sign Language.

Sahera has completed various different acting training courses, including with Definitely Theatre, City Lit and RADA. Her acting skills include comedy, poetry, storytelling, improvisation and the use of the Meisner technique. Alongside this, Sahera also incorporates a lot of visual theatre into her work. Sahera also uses her creativity and imagination to create her own work.

Sahera has been a part of various short stages and short films. She previously performed at Victoria and Albert Museum for Pop Up performance called ‘Fruit and Vegetable Olympic’ in Spring 2019 and also performed ‘Jim and the Architect’ in Autumn 2022. Her breakthrough performance was with Lambert Jackson Productions in 2020 and performed in ‘The Throwaways’ which is both a musical and comedy.

Sahera has been involved in some short films, including with BSL Zone in their film ‘He Stood Me Up’ and ‘Four Deaf Yorkshire Men: Dating’ (Television).

She has also been in Dua Lipa’s music video for her song with Angele ‘Fever’ in 2020.

She recently appeared on Channel 4 ‘Inclusion Festival 2022’ sharing her story.

In addition, her extra skills include crafts, writing, poems, stories, short films, creates videos and comedy videos.
